I usually go there to enjoy a large – and cheap – plate of fried dumplings, which happen to me made by the restaurant window = such a lovely sight.

I like their doughy dumplings dipped in – what I think is some kind of – vinegar. may not be the traditional way to eat them, but I just can’t resist.

as for the bubble teas, they’re okay-ish, but not my favourites.

my downright favourite bubble tea can be found there. the shake itself is soft and creamy, lightly flavoured with matcha green tea, and the tapioca bubbles are just chewy enough.

there is a long list of flavours to pick from, but I tend to stick to same one over and over. so delicious, it will make me take the bus from bleheim crescent to picadilly circus on any given day.
I’ll enter the restaurant, ask for a bubble tea, then walk around china town – overwhelmed by the lovely colours – taking pictures and wishing for more bubbles.

I hear their food is pretty nice too.
