it might just be macarons and chocolates, but feels like a relieve to the almost non-existing fine pâtisserie scene here in London.
to me, they’re the best macarons in town. or more accurately, the matcha and sesame macaron is the one; so are the vanilla, passion fruit and milk chocolate, and pretty much all of them as a matter of fact.
just a small note: they don’t come cheap. we paid 24£ for a box of 12. was it worth it? yes, but then you know how much I’m in love with anything Pierre Hermé.

They are heaven on earth, no question about that… You should also try to make them yourself sometime! Great fun and very rewarding.

I’m pretty sure PH will never come to NYC. Sniff. What a beautiful box that is.
Last night I had a dream that I was going to Paris. The whole dream was about me buying tickets and waiting at the airport though…I wasn’t actually in Paris. Hm. But if I had gone there in my dreams I WOULD’VE BOUGHT A BOX OF MACARONS, YEAH.
